Malkovich on working: "I prefer to work when I’m working, " sighs 
                       John Malkovich, who’s taking a break 
                       from the break.
                       "Not wait when I’m working. That’s why we 
                       get paid so much, we just wait all day…" 

Malkovich on Athos:   (We asked him whether or not Athos is very 
                      different from the bad guy roles he’s been 
                      playing lately)
                      "No. In the last year I’ve been developing 
                      six or seven films. I did Con Air. I’m doing 
                      this(The Man in the Iron Mask. ed). I did 
                      Potrait of a Lady. But if you mean I might 
                      get recognised the most for and remembered 
                      the most for and certainly paid most for those 
                      parts then no. One is the product in a 
                      business. And when they say, "oh, we’ll get 
                      him and then people will want to buy that 
                      product," how can you argue with that? If 
                      I do a film like Object of Beauty, which I 
                      think is very good, no one mentions that. 
                      I don’t care. Why should I care? I don’t read 
                      critics."
Malkovich on being
a sex-symbol:         "The last time I remember feeling sexy was when
                       I was about 8 or 9 years old and I was 
                       dressed in a madras shirt and slightly 
                       mismatched madras shorts and a group of 
                       friends of my  brothers drove by and threw 
                       beer-bottles at me."
Malkovich on 
DiCaprio:              "What a great kid! You know, I think that 
                       some of the young kids who get famous or 
                       become powerful when they’re very young are 
                       consumed with that. But Leonardo’s got an 
                       excellent head on his shoulders. Very funny, 
                       very light, just a great kid to have arond. 
                       He makes a lot more sense to me than almost 
                       anyone I’ve met of that age."

DiCaprio on Malkovich: "He’s a bad ass. No other words needed."
